Finally got my enlistment Date..... Its abit late though.... 7th September.... That's 4 months plus later.... wow i can watch world cup.... i can work for 4 months....
But then... its still abit late.... some of my friends went in on June, July... haha...
Anyway, today is quite a bad working day.... Firstly the whole department only myself working.... its ok still can tahan.... but we met a customer that spoiled our day.....
Ok at first he came to us enquiry a book by this publication but was not sure about the title.... So i tried to help by checking the computer system and those files to see if we carry this title. In the end can't find and i went to search on my department shelves and also chinese department shelves... Still, no result. So i went to ask the customer if he bought it somewhere else and i checked with the outlet that he bought it from. During calling the outlet, he started to mumble.. "Such a big store cant find a book.... That time i went Borders they give me the answer in 10 mins.... now i already waited more than that... ". Yes i ignore that and let the customer talk to the Outlet thru the phone. So i went away trying to search for the book again.... When i come back he already finished the talk and still trying to find the book... I am sure that the outlet told him don't have.... Ok so again i try to call the outlet again but looking for the chinese department to see if the book is theirs. In the mean time again the customer came back and say again... "Still cannot find the book... i have waited for 20min... put urself in my shoe and you noe how am i feeling now... ". I keep quiet and spoke to the outlet to check if they REALLY have the book.... Den the customer getting impatient and our duty manager in-charge went up to him and understand the situation. In the end the outlet told us its impossible that the customer bought the book at their side cause they don't have the book more than 1 month ago... During that time the customer also complaining to our duty manager about the service and how Borders have done it so well wateva.... But then no choice we don't have so he left the place... (Ok so the problem is.... The customer is looking for a book with unconfirmed TITLE, and the 2nd thing is we don't carry anymore books from this publication... he said he bought it from the outlet tat we called.... Yes we both have wrong, but he dun even appreciate our efforts and not even a "Thank You" was said.... we were trying to find the book for him... yet this is what we get...)
So this is Customer Service. Your Effort will not be appreciate when u can't find the book. Haiz..... but nevermind... i already get used to this type of situation... Customer is always right..
